A very nice night
SO, how to spend a Monday night? Out clubbing? In pjs watching telly? Working? ORRR you could go to the world premiere of Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland at the Royal Opera House. I am not at all smug. Anyway, for those of you who are interested (costume?) it was brillllllllllllliant!! It's the first ballet commissioned by the ROH for a very very long time, cchoreographed by Christopher Wheeldon. There were loads of special effects and really funny bits, as well as excellent dancing of course. It was also really funny in places; then again, it was aimed more at children, a bit like the Nutcracker. The costumes were amazing, I particularly liked the tutus cut into spades/clubs/hearts/diamonds etc to be the cards. Anyway, if anyone gets the chance to see it, they should- it's definitely worth it. THANKS AUNTIE LOU! Issie
