A-Z of moi (Sam Wright - about time too, Gayle is probably thinking...)

Aloha Folks ! First blogpost (only about a week late haha!)
Here goes...

Age - 8 and 10 as one would say in Jane Austen speak..

Bravest thing I've done - Probably confronting my primary school bullies, you laugh but believe me it took guts!

Chore I hate - I actually like housework but if a familiar relation is nagging, I loath the task at hand.

Dogs or Cats? - Hmm...Elephants! - far more intelligent and graceful creatures, although with 3 cats already I'm destined to spend my old age with them alone.

Essential start to the day - My backup alarm (parents yelling through my bedroom door - classic right?!) when technology fails me in the morning.

Fear of - Mephobia (Fear of becoming so awesome that the human race can't handle it and everybody dies). Plus the usual stuff : spiders, snakes, clowns, public speaking, cancer. In short I am the biggest coward.

Geographical location that is important to me - Narnia - does that count?  or the nearest bed to my current location?

Height - Somewhere in the region of 5 to 6 foot. I consider myself vertically challenged.

Instrument I play - Umm...air guitar?

Journey - my best ever - I'm on it now...it's called life!

Kick ass music track - Tricky question so here is a list
Mainstream
       - Michael BublĂ© (your voice is liquid sex)
       - Caro Emerald
       - Maroon 5
       - Coldplay
Dance/Electronic
       - any Kaskade tune or remix
Old School
       - Frank Sinatra
       - The Beatles Abbey Road album in particular ( how unoriginal of me)
       - The Eagles (Best of My Love is an all time favourite track of mine)
Rock
       - System of a Down
       - Muse
       - Hinder
       - Lostprophets
Bands you may not have heard of
       - Bitter:Sweet
       - Solid Gold
       - Sol Seppy
But my kick ass tune has to be Junior Senior - Move Your Feet , such a feel-good track

Lust after - Money, Power, Love, Success (not much really!)

Movie - Are you kidding me Gayle? Directed by Can I Swear?

Nickname - Sam, Sammy and much to my embarrassment - Big Bird (Dad you are going to Hell for that one!)

Outrageous behaviour - the only thing that springs to mind is petty theft, purely for the adrenaline rush haha.

Pet Peeves - most of the things already listed, oh and grammatical errors such as your when you mean you're  or when people can't pronounce the letter H correctly ( it's aitch okay, not haitch).

Quote from a movie - I have two 1) the oh so hilarious, albeit unoriginal 'I'll have what she's having'
and 2) the more gripping and thought provoking simplicity of 'What one man can do, another can do. Cos today I'm gonna kill the mother ****er'

Recreational activity - country rambles, people watching, thrifting, spontaneous excursions, yoga, Tumblr, caffeine fixes, movie marathons - you know the drill!

Siblings - Una hermana menor...que pena!

Television - Comedy mostly - Outnumbered, Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, and repeats of various shows like Friends, Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City etc. I'm hooked on Downton Abbey - can't wait for the third series!!!

Undercover - what you didn't know about me - Astrology is my religion. I believe FAR TOO MUCH for my own good. Some of the coincidences will scare the crap out of you though.

Va va voom - who gets my engine running - I've had my share of crushes, most of them falling into one of following categories : too old, dead, with someone else, in another country, not attracted to me, celebrities or a fictional character. If I have to choose though, Alec Baldwin gets my vote (circa 1990s pre gravity taking full effect)

What makes me stop and stare - Beauty in all its forms, we are visual creatures after all, are we not?!

Xray vision - what I would like to see if I could - I'd like to see without glasses/contacts to be perfectly honest!

Yummy, what I like to eat most - My parents have rather successfully trained me to eat anything and everything they place in front of me plus my ma is an excellent cook which helps a great deal, minus marmite. Hate the stuff. Therefore I will be indefinitely tubby, sorry fashion world, but you are just going to have to DEAL WITH IT.

Zzzzzzzz, what makes me sleep - Cold weather is meant for one purpose and one purpose only : HIBERNATION. Other mammals do it, why can't we?

Phew thank god that's over!
